Company History
Ms. Zell Randle, a proud mother of three accomplished adult children and a devoted grandmother of five, exemplifies resilience, faith, and unwavering determination. As the founder and CEO of Randle's T-Shirt Company, LLC, and the nonprofit Living Brave Through Breast Cancer (TBC), her life story is one of turning personal adversity into a mission of hope and empowerment.
Zell’s journey took a challenging turn on July 29, 2014, when she received devastating news from her doctor: her breast cancer had returned, 26 years after her initial diagnosis. Balancing work, family, and now a second battle with cancer, Zell chose to face her challenges with courage and an unshakable belief in God. She recalls that during her toughest moments, she "reached out for the hand of God."
The financial burden of medical bills depleted her savings, leaving her to navigate the crushing weight of high costs and daily responsibilities. Seeking assistance from organizations dedicated to breast cancer support, she was turned away due to her income status—a unfortunate reminder of the systemic gaps faced by many survivors. Determined not to let her struggles define her, Zell discovered that many others shared her experiences, struggling with financial hardship and uncertainty after a breast cancer diagnosis.
Initially, Zell felt hesitant to share her pain publicly. Yet, in 2015, a life-changing call from Dr. Pamela Davenport offered her the opportunity to share her story. This moment not only gave her a voice but also a renewed purpose: to uplift others facing the same challenges. Encouraged by her family and close friends, she embraced faith and courage over fear, grounding her motivation in the words of gospel artist Tye Tribbett’s song, “If God Did It Before, He Will Do It Again.”
In 2017, Zell partnered with her daughter, Avis Randle, to launch Living Brave Through Breast Cancer (TBC). Using their own resources, they created a support network for fighters and survivors, hosting fundraisers and annual events to educate the community about early detection and provide much-needed aid. One of these events, the “Early Detection Awareness (EDA)” initiative, became a cornerstone of their outreach, fostering awareness and hope.
During these events, Zell sought to gift fighters and families personalized t-shirts as a symbol of unity and support. Unfortunately, she encountered unprincipled business practices that left her overcharged and undervalued. But instead of discouraging her, this experience ignited a motivation. Feeling guided by God, Zell took it upon herself to learn the craft of t-shirt printing, ultimately founding Randle's T-Shirt Company, LLC, in 2021.
The entrepreneurial spirit runs deep in Zell’s lineage. Her parents, the beloved Rev. Ozell Sr. and beloved Mother Jessie Randle, owned Randle’s Clothing Cleaners, instilling in her a lifelong passion for service and business. Through Randle’s T-Shirt Company, Zell continues their legacy, blending her roles as a servant leader and a trailblazing entrepreneur.
Today, Randle’s T-Shirt Company is more than just a family- and women-owned business—it stands as a shining beacon of hope and inspiration. Zell Randle’s mission extends far beyond entrepreneurship; she is dedicated to building a community of fighters, survivors, caregivers, and supporters, while empowering the next generation to embrace business ownership. Guided by her heartfelt motto, “Each One Reach One,” Zell transforms personal adversities into opportunities to serve, inspire, and make a lasting impact.
